Designed for compatible USB-C dash cams, the GKU ACC Hardwire Kit delivers stable 5V/2.5A power for reliable recording and parking monitoring.

The GKU ACC Hardwire Kit includes multiple built-in safety protections to help provide stable power while reducing the risk of excessive battery drain.

The hardwire kit includes low-voltage protection and automatically cuts power when battery voltage falls below approximately 11.8V ± 0.2V. Overheating, overcurrent and short-circuit protection provide additional safety during continuous parking monitoring.

How can I confirm that my dash cam has entered Parking Mode?

If the hardwire kit is installed correctly and Parking Mode is supported by your dash cam, the Parking Mode option should appear in the GKU GO app.

Make sure Parking Mode is enabled in the app before testing.

My dash cam does not enter Parking Mode. What should I check?

Please check the following:

  • Make sure Parking Mode is enabled in the GKU GO app.
  • Connect the red wire to an ACC / ignition-switched fuse.
  • Connect the yellow wire to a constant-power fuse.
  • Connect the black wire to a clean metal grounding point.
  • Make sure the selected fuse adapter matches your vehicle’s fuse box.

Incorrect wiring may prevent the dash cam from switching properly between driving and parking modes.

Why does my dash cam stay on after the engine is turned off?

The red and yellow wires may be connected incorrectly.

Make sure:

Red Wire — ACC
Connect to a fuse that powers on and off with the vehicle ignition.

Yellow Wire — BATT
Connect to a constant-power fuse.

If these wires are reversed, the dash cam may not switch correctly between driving and parking modes.
